I bet Cech's delighted he moved tbh. Chelsea have never won the Barclays Asia Trophy or the Emirates Cup!

Think this is only like the 3rd time they've won it too #tinpotclub

Been offered a CS ticket for £75, worth it?

No. I've been before and FV is around £35-40. Look on Twitter, there'll be plenty around.

Chelsea have won the Barclays Asia Trophy twice and Petr won it with Chelsea in 2011

75 quid for a friendly? Nah. There's bound to be a few spares knocking about on Twitter.

Well he's never won the Emirates Cup before!
Nice to see our rivals fans have come in their groups to troll, shows they're truly rustled
I'm only rustled at the prospect of your twitter mongs saying they might have won a treble on sunday afternoon, without even a hint if sarcasm in their tweets.

Twitter will be a cesspit at full time either way

Haha, what a joke!

In all seriousness, I'm sure he's delighted. He's getting to do what he didn't last year - play. He will be a star for us.

Have you guys seen this? http://www.joe.co.uk/sport/the-5-types-of-arsenal-fan/6429

The JVC Hipster
You know the type; they turn up to games in their retro Michael Thomas top (two sizes too small of course) and wax lyrical about their vivid memories of May 26, 1989 - when they were three years old.

They love to explain the subtle aspects of Mesut Ozil's game that their fellow fans simply don't appreciate. And they adore Alexis Sanchez, but more so when he was playing for Udinese ("why can't Wenger use him properly?").

Now the Chilean is a far too obvious pin-up - it's all about Francis Coquelin and the work you don't see him doing. Twitter avatar is John Jensen or Igor Stepanovs because, ya know, obscure and ironic.

That's definitely Zurich.

Couldn't really identify myself with any of those tbh.

People were queueing up for Claude, Ty and Bully's autographs apparently  Now I can understand a picture (I have one with both of them ngl) but what use is an autograph?
Imagine playing for a team sponsered by Yokohama tyre's, I mean where the **** even is Yokohama?

Just going to put it out there, my local league 2 team (Stevenage), is also sponsored by a tyre specialist, STS Tyre Pros.

Lol you got a photo with him, I saw Ty at an away game last season and called him a c*nt. Haven't had the pleasure of meeting Claude although I've seen Bully many times at matches. He's hard to miss, Jack Sparrow lookalike nonce.

Its to increase their fan base in Japan and bring in revenue.
Tactical decision which is likely to benefit them.
Its not to provide them with higher quality tyres for their bus:wink:

Arsenal are sponsored by dirty arab money
(edited 8 years ago)
Why is the money dirty?
hurr durr because it's from the middle east, and in the same way that every rich russian is a crook, so is every arab company hurr durr

nah, but in all seriousness, Usmanov is an oligarch who like Abramovich, benefited from the fall of the soviet union.
