I'm gonna ask my parents if I can go in my own, open my results by myself then call them to tell them but also if a teacher wants to talk to them :smile:

no - i want b's in both my english but i know its going to be extremely close :frown:

How will you open them?
have to open them in school as i don't get my maths mark just the grade and i need the mark to decide if i should resit for an A

How will you celebrate / react?
Meal with my family and boyfriend and sleepover and drinks with the girls on the weekend

If I do better than I expected I will cry my eyes out with joy and probably scream.

Yeah hopefully, only need my Maths, already got English Language and 3 btecs which count as GCSEs.

I literally have no idea. Not a clue. Trying not to think about it.

Most likely, I need 4B's and 2C's. I already achieved an A in Ancient History- although I was unhappy with that result.

I posted that last year lol 😂😂 I ended up getting 3 A* 5A 2B. 🙈

I just finished my AS and I haven't had any dreams about results day if that helps..

What are you hoping for?I would love to get 8 A*s and 2 As.

What are you expecting?
Biology-B (was predicted a* but missed 10 marks in b2 :frown: )
Maths-A
Eng Lit-B (I really don't know how to judge my performance)
Eng Lang-A (ditto with eng lang)
History-A (yet another subjective exam)
Chemistry-A* (only one that I feel relatively calm about)
Physics-A
French-A* (high CW)
German-A (listening let me down :frown: )
RE-A* (took it last year)

Nah I will probably cry because I messed up on bits that I knew. Truth be told, the looming doom of results day has haunted me every night.

How will you open them?
A lot of my teachers expect me to do well so I might open them up in the toilets or go to a random field with a bottle of industrial strength bleach. Haven't really decided yet.
How will you celebrate / react?If I hit my target then drinks are on me but if I fail (which I have) then I will probably be very irritable and depressed.

I actually I don't think I will because I'm doing Biology and Chemistry A-level and you need at least a B in both maths and science, and the edexcel maths paper I messed both papers up and Additional Science Biology paper was a myth I flopped hard (predicted a B in both but no way in hell I got that)

Good Luck to everyone for the 20th, I hope you get all the grades you want!!
I'm not sure if I want to
A) Open them and take in all the grades at once
B) Cover them up and take them in one by one

Arghhh
I know the results won't be any different either way, but I don't want to burst into tears (being good or bad tears) in the middle of school
The weird thing is that everyone is saying they want to go hide away somewhere and open theirs privately, but I actually kind of don't, despite being a very closed-up and private person most of the time...I kind of want people to be there, and NOT my family, unlike most people (no offense to them). I don't know.

Depends on what I get.

I'll go into school scared ****less to get them, then I'll take them home with me and open them slowly on the sofa.
How will you celebrate/react?
Depends. If it's alright I'll go to the supermarket and buy myself like 50 bars of dark chocolate(my favourite:tongue:) if it's bad then knowing me I'll either have a depressive episode and try to do something to myself or have an involuntary Asperger's meltdown and start throwing random objects at the wall while shaking uncontrollably and probably crying - neither of which will be particularly fun:frown:

Someone help I am doing single award science with cea and I have a b in chemistry a c in biology and an a* in coursework I am waiting on my physics of I fail it will I still pass

Unless it is straight A*s, nope. Even if it is, I'll probably just think I got lucky and dismiss it, though.

I don't even KNOW. How I'm going to be ABLE to even open them is beyond me.

I feel arrogant saying this, but yes. The requirement (and this is an academic school, so I'm still kind of surprised, but ah well) is 8 A*-Bs, I believe, which I'd like to think I can get, considering my prediction. But hell, who knows. I can imagine myself not doing well enough, absolutely. My only consolation is that I know I have 1 A* already.


By 'academic' are you referring to a grammar or public school or just a very renowned comprehensive ? Because they are really high entry grades! You just need 5 c's in anything to get into my school :colonhash:
