Hey everyone... I'm so nervous! I'm starting Roehampton in September, I'm 20 with a one year old daughter, and I'm worried I won't fit into the "university" life 😕 obviously my daughter and family life come first, but I don't want it to "define" my experience. I'm just wondering if there is anyone in the same situation??

I'm not in the same situation, Lucy but I just wanted to say that you shouldn't be nervous. There's going to be a lot more to student life and I've had friends who have went through university (some with younger children) and they've loved it. (:
Just wanted to put on here again incase there is any new people on this thread that I'm more than happy to answer questions about Roehampton/uni life. I'm a second year psychology student at whitelands- so may not know a lot about other courses but I'll certainty try to help! X

Hi! I was wondering if you could tell me about the availability of washing facilities avaliable on campus? Is there washing machines and dryers avaliable in all colleges? If there is, how much does it roughly cost? Do they only take specific coins? I was thinking taking a small pot of change just for washing in the beginning, thank you! x

That's the Social Events time table. The Freshers Fair isn't on Monday, it's on Friday (September 18).

Hi! All of the campuses have washing facilities as far as I'm aware- I'm not sure of the location of all of them but I know in Whitelands it's under one of the halls of residence. It costs £2 for a washing machine and £1 for a dryer- but they only accept £1 coins I'm afraid so make sure you start collecting them! 😂 There's also a launderette on the parade of shops by Whitelands should you rather go there 😊 x

Hi, I didn't buy the wristbands for freshers and the event I want to attend the most is Thorpe Park, will they sell individual tickets for it?
