Is it okay to do your IGCSEs privately?

Here's the deal, I have wasted a year in deciding weather or not do do IGCSEs, and I have an option to complete my GCSEs in 8 months in a private organization that prepare you fro CIEs.

My question is that would going to a private organization and not a proper school affect my university application?

Need answers ASAP, Thanks
I just did IGCSE English privitly and I had no issues with it. The hardest part was finding the exam centre! I don't see a reason why universities would have an issue with you doing the exam privitly I think they would be more interested in your grades more than anything.
