Medicine application HELP

I was planning to send my ucas application to unis for medicine in October and i was wondering if i would be at a disadvantage to people sending their applications earlier such as september?

Also, do i have to send my application after my UKCAT as it is later this month, or does it not matter?

As long as it is in before the deadline it will make no difference.

There is no point submitting before sitting your UKCAT, as the UKCAT will have a massive influence on where you should apply.
