Are the medlink extra sessions worth the cost?

I'm going to medlink as part of my gold d of e, so will be doing the pathology day and the next step day. Are the optional additional sessions worth the extra cost (ie. Oxbridge, the Edge, A* in chemistry etc.)? Also, do you have to let the medlink coordinators know in advance of booking if you are doing it as the gold d of e residential?

It's a waste of time. Save yourself some money and do some work experience instead. Everything you could possibly want to know about getting into med school you can either find out at open days or online.
