Cheapest way of travelling to London for a student?

What's the cheapest way for me to travel from Tilbury town to Ealing Broadway station as a student? My town isn't within the area for an oyster card.

Train.

You got a railcard then? Or you can travel to the nearest tube station and then use your oyster.

16-25 railcard is for students gives you discount when travelling with overground trains you can buy one for like £30.

Should be valid for all I believe.
My advice would be get a monthly travel card along with the £30 rail card. It's the best option! And it works on the underground too
