From my experience, the majority of younger people are very left wing
partly because of mass immigration affects young people more
the political consensus has been shifted to the right, particularly since Blair

Personally I have always found England to be a very nationalistic country, probably the most in western Europe. While I am not sure that I believe that the younger generations are more racist, I certainly think they are more right-wing. That being said though, England as a whole is a right-wing country.
nationalism =/= racism, or else scotland is the most racist country this side of europe

When you claim that they are racists, you just say that you are racist yourself. Besides in your situation - exactly you're a racist, cause you claim that great number of other people of the stipulated nationality are racists.
If you're not white, it doesn't mean that you can't be racist yourself.

Nope. Every youth and his youthly dog are more socially liberal nowadays, that is not very Thatcher.
Most people are not aware enough to be on any kind of political economic scale. They just sort of go with the flow. I'd say there is a bit of an even split between right and left on this regard among the 'politically aware'.

You're misunderstanding what I'm saying; there has been a shift further right. Whereas before the youth were left of centre, now the majority identify themselves as centre.

Politics is evidently more complicated than that. Thatcher didn't stand for gay marriage and all that jazz.

Well it's obvious that you can't label our generation as pure Thatcherites considering how liberal we are with social issues (on average).

..and stuff like cutting people's hands off for stealing
death penalty seems to have a consistent 50/50 split in opinion among entire population.
