Service due message

Hey everyone, yesterday my OBC said I was due a service in 10k miles or so, but after turning on the car today it says 'Service due'. The service history said it had a service in June this year. Should I ignore it or take it in for a service? It's a mk3 Clio btw.
Generally the service indicator is just a glorified timer.
The guys who service it are supposed to reset the unit - maybe they didn't.

I would take it in, and get them to reset it for free. But do check what I say is correct.
It is possible that the light came on for another reason

The light is off, it's when im flicking through the OBC displays the service display went from 'service due in 10k miles' to 'service due' overnight :/
I wouldn't worry too much. I base my services on mileage and cars condition/feel rather than the service messages. The computers are simply counters. Workout when you serviced it last, look at your recommended miles between services (in the owners manual) and work to that. Take it in if you think theres something wrong with it.
