You are facing a team high on confidence. Similar to e.g. Soton/Swansea or Palace when they are on form, they then become a very tough team to beat because of that confidence factor.

Plus, the midweek jaunt to Zagreb can't have helped. It was disastrous. A really poor performance and Giroud's sending off compounding by a defeat, and a long journey back to face a side who won 4-0 and seemed reinvigorated in a lunchtime Saturday kick-off.

Hardly an ideal set of circumstances.
Arsenal's next 10 games or so are horrendous. You could easily be 12th and out of 2 competitions after that.

Coquelin out for four weeks?

Arteta, welcome back!

The first half of 2014 was when the whole FF peaked (shoutout to Miel).

Why don't you play Cazorla as DLP and then Ramsey/Ox either side both playing box-to-box. Don't understand why Ramsey's chilling on the right.
**** everything. Player like Gabriel was the only one that started showing some ****ing guts. We have a team full of ****ing pussyboys that will never win the league. They get bullied by teams.

I think Arsenal thread 18 was the most. It was around the time your season went to **** in 13/14.

It was also the time of undermoderated FF when the thread would reach 500 pages in a little over two months. Moderation has only slightly improved since
Neville was right. Teams full of fukboys.

Not sure if Arsenal fans understand the irony of praising Gabriel's attitude and slating Costa's. No doubt Costa is a professional wum, and can be overly aggressive, but he gives back what he takes. Gabriel attempted to lash out after the Koschielny grapple, and Costa leads from the front, which is something that none of your players have done for a long time.

Loving the double standards of wanting to have Costa retrospectively banned, yet keep quiet over Wilshere's headbutt on Fellaini.

Cazorla's reds were both yellow cards so not sure why I've seen Arsenao fans whinging about that.

Only way to deal with Jose's teams is to fight team head on en masse ala Barca vs Madrid style brawls. A point would have been nice, that was do-able if we played politically. That way you both have players sent off. Problem is we have so many choirboy pussies in the team like Giroud, Theo, Ozil, etc etc etc.

It's fine to be a **** like Costa, Jose is going to send his team out to do anything to win. We have this obsession with being gentlemen but its football and to not play to win against Jose is ridiculous. He tries to get every little advantage he can. Wenger just whinges. I don't find defeat glorious.
Also loving how the media have basically ignored Wenger's outburst after the game, at the expense of calling out Costa once again, despite a large part of his antics y'day beibg six of one, half a dozen of the other with Gabriel.

The guy essentially slated Costa in a such a true #salty way like he's been at for years whenever he's lost, the questioned the integrity of the ref by calling him niave. Yet we all know if Jose or Fergurson had said that it would be all over the front of the papers for a week, hell Mourinho called out 4 minutes v Burnley last season that factually had big impacts on the game, and got slaughtered by the press, and got fined for being sarcastic in an interview about the same ref.

Wenger's reputation preceeds him, and his antics can be just as petulant as what we've seen from Mourinho in his time in England.
Quite honestly at this point idgaf if we get bought out by Usmanov. If you can't beat them, join them. Losing every year against the better teams is not right. Our fans get royally ripped off.

Yes because a retrospective 3 match ban on a player who got injured and was going to be out for 2 months after that game was really necessary.... The stupidity is real in this one

Oh and no one has complained about santi getting sent off...

Completely irrelevant that he was injured afterwards. Should have sat out games after he returned from injury, it's no different from players getting suspensions at the end of seasons that carry on into the next campaign as has been seen from Fellaini and Suarez in recent years.

Seen Arsenal fans on Twitter and Reddit moan about it, just because its not on TSR doesnt mean it hasn't happened.

with wenger in charge the exact same issues will be there.

We're always going to be 2-3 players short with Wenger. He does address issues - just too late, and then other issues arise.

Honestly think its time for him to go finally. He's won 2 FA cups on the bounce, good time to bow out and let Klopp take the reins.

He's got to go.

Imo we've got 4 very talented footballers who could be elite - Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil and Alexis.

One of them is being harmed by Wenger through his training and him overplaying.

The others are all failing because of the system that Wenger goes with.

Yes, except that's not how retrospective bans work is it? Neither were injured so it's a completely different scenario. The ban would start from the next game and thus wouldn't matter, and if they postponed it til after injury you'd just say he's not injured when he is. You really are a dense **** sometimes aren't you

I think Coquelin can be elite, he can be one of the best CDM's in the world.
Considering the number of times Wenger goes on about 'mental strength', we certainly have a ridiculous lack of it. Wenger won't be leaving until at least 2017 anyway - got to suck up the negativity and move on.
Don't really understand the meltdown going on rn tbh. Doubt Coq has a serious injury, I mean he played on til half time. Let's face it, we're 5 points off the leaders and everyone seems to be stumbling and have got our hardest fixture of the season out of the way.
