Also does anyone know what the minimum score was needed for 2015 (A108) for an interview, as it doesn't say on the website :frown:
Are you referring to the UKCAT? If so, there is no minimum score, it's done on a scoring basis. So for each section, they allocate a score. They add that to the score for your gcses and then top 50% of applicants are considered further. I.e. personal statement read etc

801 900 = 9 points
701 800 = 8 points
601 700 = 7 points
501 600 = 6 points
401 500 = 5 points
301 400 = 4 points
The weighting for each of the four components is equal.
The fifth component, SJT is scored as follows:
Band 1 = 3 points
Band 2= 2 points
Band 3= 1 point
Band 4= 0 point
Applicants who achieve a band 4 are not considered further.

How bad are they?
I'm sure they aren't too bad! :yep:

Nottingham say:

The GCSE/IGCSEs scored are limited to the highest 6 subjects (first sit results
only we do not consider re-sit results). GCSESC and BTEC/Diplomas are not
included. The following GCSE/IGCSE subjects included are:
double science biology
maths Or chemistry
English language English language
best two other subjects maths
best two other subjects
The GCSE’s are scored as follows:
A* = 4 points
A = 3 points
B = 2 points
C = 1 point

Mine were
A* - religious studies
B- core science
B- additional science
B- maths
B- Arabic
B- Citizenship
C- English language
C- English Lit
C- business studies
E- Art

AS results are:
A- sociology
A- psychology
B- biology
C- chemistry

A2 predictions -
A- psychology
B- Biology
B- chemistry

Do you think I have a chance with my ukcat scored to 28
And my crappy GCSEs?

But a good personal statement (as said my tutors, and medical students)

What was your actual UKCAT score?
I don't see why not tbh, my A2 predictions are exactly the same as yours in the same subjects (weird ha).

I think you stand a fair chance in all honesty!
I was referring to the score that Nottingham gives.
For A100 (2015 entry) you needed 39 points for personal statement stage and 45 for the interview.
Guess I didn't make that clear previously.

585 average band 1 😐 not great either

I should've been predicted an A in biology as I got a very high B and r retaking unit 2 but my bio department are very strict and only predict you the grade you got at AS 😭 but oh well

I've got 41 points in total for foundation year points
Let's hope it's enough

Let's hope it's enough-I'm guessing this is your first choice?
Only seen 3 people from TSR say they're applying to A108 let's hope there is super less applying this year

Very similar to my school in terms of grade predictions. :/

I think with these foundation courses, more emphasis is placed on ps and reference, after you met all the requirements grade wise. So I wouldn't rule yourself out yet.

I'm also applying to this, Kings emdp, Southampton and st George's. I think my points add up to 52 ( 21+31) so there's still hope,

Mine is 28 + 13 (for GCSE) I feel terrible because I can already sense a rejection

As long as the threshold is 41, if your PS is really good you might be able to get an interview.
Where else have you applied to? You might be able to apply for clinical sciences for Bradford and transfer to Leeds A100.

I've applied to Southampton as well and the rest are biomed
My teacher advised me against applying for Bradford and said would you be happy doing a clinical science degree of you didn't get in and my answer was obv a no
So not applying there
Lets hope they give my personal statement a read

Does the fact I recieved a band 4 in SJT mean I won't be considered?
