We're delighted that you've decided to apply to SOAS. Is there any questions you might have for me? Here's a quick overview of SOAS for you:

Located within our department of Arts and Humanities (ranked 10th overall in the UK), our history department was ranked 14th overall in the UK (Guardian Good University Guide 2014), and 11th in the UK for graduate prospects (Complete University Guide 2014).

With a degree from SOAS, you'll be able to assess evidence and conflicting interpretations, understand people and societies, emerge with the relevant skills to be a good business person, profession or political leader, plus many many more!

Whether you're interested in doing a BA in History http://bit.ly/1jJSmIp
or a combined degree (check out what else you can combine it with here) http://bit.ly/1PeLFtI You'll definitely be prepared to be a productive member of society!

We have an open day coming up on the 21st of October if you're interested. here's the link to sign up. https://www.soas.ac.uk/admissions/ug/opendays/

If you're an international student, then follow our channels as some of our recruiters are out, visiting several different countries. You can find out more about where they are on their FB and Twitter channels. https://www.facebook.com/soasinternationaloffice and https://twitter.com/SOAS_Int

I hope this helps!

For History or a joint honours? They emailed my friend and told him they aren't giving out any History offers until after the January deadline?

Well done though! :h:
