Which bag should I get (for uni)?

I need a new bag for university... and I'd also like to be able to use it other times. I usually take my laptop (Macbook pro 13"), and a few small reading books...

My options are these

Personally, I had a LV messenger bag when I was at uni. Not only was it big enough for everything (including a 15" MBP), but it also looked the part.

You can't say the same about the bags you've chosen.

I agree, im at uni now and i usually have a big bag which fits my laptop, books and lunch. Large tote bags, aren't as large as you think.

I alternate between my tote and large bag depending on what i am taking that day.

I would consider looking for either a messenger or a light backpack

OP, for that price range, it's really not worth it. I mean, even Accessorise or Zara has nicer bags than that! This Rebecca Minkoff is far stylisher and should fit your mac (plus you should have something structured- it'll last longer). Or get a Kanken backpack, they're really cute.

I went for the District GM :biggrin:

And yes, the brown monogram ones are tacky :lol:

Yeah, they're subtle enough. Nice choice!
The first two are nicer but look a bit small, however I don't like the third bag. I think the tote style bags from ted baker are nicer such as http://www.tedbaker.com/uk/Womens/Accessories/Bags/BONNITA-Bow-detail-leather-shopper-bag-Black/p/121162-00-BLACK
