It's loose, it's not like an afro, it kind of dangles like spaghetti. It starts off straight but when I let it grow a bit it just starts to get out of control and wild. :tongue:

I use hair curl control mousse at times and curl defining shampoo to tame the curls.

Why do you have curly as well, and what do you use?

Hmmm interesting. Maybe it gets too dry and so matts and tangles together?

Yes. I have an afro. XD I use a wide toothed comb, coconut conditioner, coconut oil, argan oil and shea butter. :biggrin:

If it's a pain to comb, don't comb it dry. After shampooing (if needs be), massage conditioner in a downwards motion through it from root to end at the beginning of your shower and leave in a shower cap for the duration of your shower. Then (while you are still in the shower) gently comb it through with a wide toothed comb and then rinse your hair. Towel dry it (gently) and then massage hair oil of your choice through it from root to end. Let it air dry and bam! Smooth, silky, moisturised, detangled hair that smells divine. :biggrin:
