I tend to agree with Owen Jones, but I respect people who can disagree on the arguments without making it personal - I suspect the only reason the person you were responding to 'doesn't trust' Jones is because he's a 'lefty' which is an attitude I very much dislike.

There is not UK nation or UK state. It is the British nation and British state. The UK is just a political name after the act of Union. With or without that Parliamentary union the British nation and state would exist. As it is the thing with power. Anyway this is getting rather stupid going over the same point over and over again. Do you have anything to say about the video or the comment made by Peter Hitchens within it?

Well yeah no point getting personal. As I basically think all the people who have similar political views to mine are A wholes. Whereas I actually like some people who are Liberals. If the government hadn't destroyed my life and became tyrannical, I would be a Liberal/Socialist. I mean I really don't like Peter Hitchens as a person or Douglas Murray. The only person from my political side I actually liked was Michael Coren, but he turned out to be a lying traitor.

I have watch a lot of Owen Jones videos and I must say he talks utter rubbish and I agree with nothing he says. He is obviously as decent guy who wants to help people though. Just as I said he is wrong.

As far the government is concerned, it is interchangeable, but the official term is the UK, not Britain. In the same way that the official term is the United States of America, and not 'America' generally.
