Well I've a fair few problems with the old 'politicalcompass.org' (and indeed those sort of 'what kind of X are you' style tests in general.) People's thinking's obviously ''very complicated'' and with so relatively few questions it's easy for a ''got to pick something'' answer to skew the results considerably from the reality...and obviously the questions themselves do seem to be written from an inherently ''center-left'' perspective.

First one , 'If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.'...I mean come on!! lol

Anyway rant over lets give it a bash...

@The_Mighty_Bush , that's the difference between the Leninist vanguard leading the proles through a dictatorship as apposed to the proles self organizing and doing it themselves. No one likes proles doing things for themselves, on the left and right. The authoritarians of both sides are indistinguishable in how they react to self organizing proles. Stalin (far left), National Socialists like Franco and Pinochet (far right) would all attack any outbreak of syndicalism.

Firstly the anarchists weren't all "proles". It also wasn't exactly the self organisation that the nationalists didn't like. More the massacre of Christians, Clergy, landowners, small business owners and people wearing "bourgeois" clothing in the most brutal of fashion. The self-organisation of the "proles" you talk happened after the war had started after thousands of Christians had been killed and raped by the anarchists.

You have to seriously confused to see Franco as a National Socialist.

It does not make sense. This shows how flawed the algorithm is. Someone like me does not belong next to the SNP

Also this test only tests you on certain things, we had to donor for history last year and our teacher explained that it really only takes the basics and averages them to find your "ideology" but in real life you can be right wing on certain issues, left on some and central on others and lean more towards a party who suit your majority. It's not a thing that's very easily tested.
