I will never understand why people drink alcohol (other than the taste). Just why?

why not
It's like how socialists/anarchists boast about defacing cereal cafes - they just want to rebel against something.

why not

Other than taste, why would one do that to themselves? If one is going through **** alcohol isn't really going to help lessen the burden in the long run is it? I've seen it ruin lives.

This in itself is a reason not to drink. It takes your focus off trying to solve problems and onto avoiding them or avoiding negative feelings which can motivate you.

Depends what you drink. Wine and some cocktails can be nice, but doesn't whisky just burn your throat?
What's the point of drinking it then?

I have too much about alcohol despite never drinking it. Watching Eastenders helps I guess lol.
Yeah because that's really going to help isn't it?

As a Muslim, you must understand that we have no right to pass judgement on the actions and behaviour of another Muslim. It is not in our authority to tell someone if they are a good, a mediocre or a bad Muslim. It is good to advise them on what they are doing wrong, but that's where your jurisdiction ends.

:yy:
Thank you.
