I just remember the pathetic dial up internet, where you could only use it, if noone was on the telephone, but the tv shows were epic
omg the nostalgia

limewire... when i wanted to download titanic but there was only like one person seeding and it was so slow so it took me 4 days of downloading it (and i kept the computer on at night as well) only to find out the film was dubbed in FRENCH. i cried out of frustration.
Lol, Limewire - where every film was porn and every music track was porn. The internet has come a long way since then.

Woolworths pick n mix was so dank, the fizzy cola bottles were the best from there
aww i remember the pick n mix, woolworths was amazing :frown:
those scoobies and crazy frog were so annoying tho

even though i hardly count as a 90s kid (1998 here) i really feel sorry for those kids growing up today, ipads and smartphones and things just suck all of the imagination from life, bring back cardboard boxes and bionicles (not the hero factory-esq 2015 ones, the proper ones) :s-smilie:

EDIT: just realised it says 'noughties' not 90s :h:

We called the ceefax the telly-text...when it was snowing heavily and schools were being cancelled, we would sit and refresh the page, waiting for our schools to come up. My school was always the last one!
GUL PENCIL CASES!!

Had completely forgotten them.

Other 00's stationary phenomena: a rubber with 'yes' and 'no' written on opposite sides which you'd base all your really important life questions on.

...ahh, to be young again.
So ancient
Additionally: Hair Mascara. Why was that a thing? It just made your hair all crispy.

And when being gay was still stigmatised.

People in my school thinking that when someone tripping over some stairs it could be considered "gay". :/

Or when a chair was missing a leg we said "that chair is so gay".

What a retarded mindset that was.
