Lol, Limewire - where every film was porn and every music track was porn. The internet has come a long way since then.

and porn was a virus that crippled your computer.

Additionally: Hair Mascara. Why was that a thing? It just made your hair all crispy.

aww i remember the pick n mix, woolworths was amazing :frown:
those scoobies and crazy frog were so annoying tho

even though i hardly count as a 90s kid (1998 here) i really feel sorry for those kids growing up today, ipads and smartphones and things just suck all of the imagination from life, bring back cardboard boxes and bionicles (not the hero factory-esq 2015 ones, the proper ones) :s-smilie:

EDIT: just realised it says 'noughties' not 90s :h:

I feel old :'(

Most of my memories are fo N64, GameCube, PlayStation 2 and Age of Empire/Dungeon Keeper types games. Then a **** tonne of online FPS and RPGs.

When I had to use a cassette walkman I used to record my favourite song about 50 times.... that was my repeat function....

Them were the good ole days!

And when certain shops were still in business like Blockbusters. :/

I had to run down just to pick up the DVD, nowadays I download them at a click of a finger.

This new generation are becoming more prone to laziness.

Miss going out and hiring DVDs.... my local independent shop outlived Blockbusters.... then Netflix killed it...

It used to smell of the sweetest popcorn in that place... the excitement when you found the new release and it didn't have the label on it that said it was out on loan! FTW

When I was really little I used to hire out the original Nintendo and later the Sega Megadrive for the weekend. I used to save up and then ask my Dad to take me down there to get it. Golden Axe.... whadda game!

Pokemon and S Club 7 were 1999. Ceefax had definitely started to die off by 2000 as well - sky launched it's digital satellite platform in 1998.

One of my biggest memories of that time is the Monday Night War. Anyone who was at school in that era has probably been Rock Bottomed or Stone Cold Stunnered at least once in their life.

I loved the crazy frog.
I even brought the crazy frog album back in the day.
S-Club 7 'Reach' is to this day my biggest guilty pleasure, I still dream of doing a ska cover...would work amazingly.
