lols, I love thjis....anti-slut statistics, awesome

Well, if you actually think about it, it's saying married people are more likely to have sex with their marital partners...

It's the most retarded attempt at showing some information I've ever seen. People who have been married happily for ages have less partners than those that aren't... well, duh, they're married. Married people tend to only sleep with one partner. That's kind of the point.

It's not showing people with more partners causes unstable marriages... Actually read the title. People who have non-marital partners are less likely to be married. I mean... is that really a surprise?
Why would you want to marry someone that bases whether they want to marry you or not on how many people you've been with intimately? looool. I bet the majority of the judgementa losers on this thread need to be taking what they can get.
Yeah - Come at me insecure bro's.

I think women should be encouraged to remain virgins until marriage or at least until they're with someone they plan to marry. It doesn't mean a guy is uncomfortable with their sexuality, but why would they put time and effort into a girl who's slept around and had no respect for herself or her body. Women are the ones that can get pregnant, not men and so the repercussions of them sleeping around is worse than for men. Also, I don't think a woman who's had abortions because of sleeping around is a good wife either. I wouldn't want to marry someone who'd be fine with me having slept with 15 men 😂

I would agree with you if your argument didn't apply solely to women.

To some people, sex is a big thing. I am one of those people, and I can't see myself having casual sex. However, this doesn't mean that I should, or indeed that you should push your values onto others.

Some people in our generation won't even get married; the cost is too high, they cannot justify it, it's just a religious ceremony - they don't feel the need, whatever. Are you saying that these people shouldn't ever experience the same things as others?

How can you know, at the start of a relationship, where you are going to end up. I know where you're coming from - you think people should wait to have sex with their partner, however sex is a natural part of life, and people should experience it as and when they are ready. In my opinion, it is an essential part of a relationship. I wouldn't want to marry anyone that I had no chemistry with.

As for your opinion of repercussions being worse for women than for men, well, yes, but we have contraception for a reason. And a man has to have sex with someone afterall, so why should we victimise those who have had sex because they are 'putting themselves at risk' and 'disrespecting their bodies'.

If you however were saying that we should take on the values of bygone eras, in that both men and women were to some extent expected to court eachother and wait until marriage, then yes, this would be a good idea, until you got horny.

Oh it wasn't about your poor spelling. (Although, you also put in an e when there shouldn't be)
Got to laugh at the flailing arms of some girls here trying to shame people who answer no.

no hymen do diamond crew

By that logic, there is a very small number of people you can marry - hymens don't break solely as a result of sex. Take horseriding, for example, that can break your hymen.
Also, I'm sorry, I didn't realize we lived in 550BC and it's only respectable to marry virgins.
Luckily for me I have no desire to get married - especially not to ignorant walnuts like you.

I couldn't care less whatever other people do, if they want to whore around and whatever that's fine. I just think girls have a greater responsibility than men in regards to who they sleep with. I don't think you should have sex at the start of a relationship, that isn't the point of a relationship and you should ensure you love the person first, but that's just my POV, I'm not fussed if others disagree. We do have contraception but so many seem to be inept at using it and either get unwanted pregnancies or STDs.

I never said anyone has to wait until marriage btw, so people who don't want to get married can still wait until they've been in a relationship for a good time and love each other, if that's what they want.

lol what? think there's something up with your eyes mate - you're completely misinterpreting the chart.
Original post by Straighthate
lmfao, horrendous logic, the past is a good indicator of the future, nobody denies this, there are in fact studies that show the more men a woman has slept with, the more unhappy and likely to divorce she is (surprise surprise)
taking a ride on the cock carousel in your 20's and having sex with as many men as possible and then settling down later because you are a washed up harlot is not an excuse to start on a clean slate and justify your promiscuity as a 'past phase'

Well done, you can use google.

This chart considers women over 30 who have been married for 5 years. A woman who has been more sexually active in her life is not likely to have found herself in a committed relationship and married before the age of 25, so there are definite extraneous variables at play in this chart.

It also doesn't consider that said women in the chart may have, for example, gotten married, and then divorced, and then had a lot of sex.

And further proving my point about gender bias, the chart completely dismisses the slightest idea that men also have an involvement in the breaking up of a marriage.

Again, not all women in our generation are getting married, so where are your statistics for women in committed relationships?

Personally, I wouldn't consider charts and statistics when choosing my life partner, its all a bit superficial really.

I always wonder when these threads come up - how do half of you guys even know? Do you make sure to have the conversation before you fall for them? It must be a pretty nifty system, because I've fallen for all sorts of bastards with traits I wouldn't admit to accepting on an online forum.
absolutely not
