The Student Room Group

What's the best deal you've gotten recently?

I just went on TheBodyShop online because I knew they had some things on the sale, but then it turned out they also had 40% off on top of that. I only went on to get a gift for my sisters birthday. But then saw something I always wanted to get for myself but could never justify the money. So I ended up buying two things, perfume for my sister and a jasmine set for myself. Should have cost £51. Got if for £13.80 plus free delivery. Probably the best deal I've gotten in months if not all year.

Now I told you mine, tell me yours. :daydreaming:

Even drunk me only buys the £1.99 deal after a night out.

Also surprised you didn't somehow find a way to sneak in how much white women don't like you.

£80 coat for £20. It's very warm and is my winter jacket for this year.

Not recent, but I once got a £100 bottle of perfume for £18, and four vinyls for £2 with postage included. Seller would have taken a loss just posting those vinyls out

That's pretty awesome  You seem good at sniffing out deals.
I've gotten loads of deals on eBay over the last couple of months as I was buying Christmas presents. I'd say all the gifts I bought are probably worth £600+ but I only spent around £300 (which included a few birthday gifts as I bought them all at once).

Suit from a St. Oswald's Hospice shop for just £6.50. And it was my size, and looks really nice.

That's pretty darn cheap. You can get some right gems in charity shops if you're willing to put in a little effort
