Jeremy Corbyn moves Labour party head office to Kensington ultra rich enclave

Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour party is poised to decamp its offices to one of the most gilded enclaves of London or even the world: Kensington.

Mr Corbyn came to power this summer on a wave of old-fashioned leftwing platform, calling for an end to injustice and inequality.

Sadly I am too poor to afford a subscription to the FT.

I'm not really sure what you are trying to say? They have moved from Millbank which isn't exactly what you might call Budget London.
They moved from Milbank, Jeremy Corbyn very rarely leaves his constituency anyway, he's too busy helping the public than anything else. This is also a man, that said he wouldn't like to live in number 10. Pure propaganda and it's pretty poor even at that,

All of Labour are hypocrites. Look how last election they went on about zero hours contracts so this was very interesting;
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/11510523/Labour-MPs-accused-of-hypocrisy-over-use-of-zero-hours-contracts.html

I could go on. Look at Burnham's expenses claims-
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/11627101/Andy-Burnham-claims-17000-a-year-on-expenses-for-London-flat.html

He pays £17,000 a year to rent a flat when he already lives within walking distance of the House of Commons. That is more than many people earn a year total.

Injustice? The only injustice Labour see are some people having more money than them. Inequality? When their MP's are employing people on the very contracts they campaign against and put expenses claims just for property for more than money Londoners earn in total. He isn't the only one;
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mps-expenses/5298267/Keith-Vaz-75000-for-a-flat-12-miles-from-home.html
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/labour/9577959/The-Teflon-MP-who-counts-leaders-among-his-friends.html

Voting for Labour to end inequality is laughable. Vote anyone but Lib/Lab/Con if that is what you want.

Right on! Best Labour can do is diminish the aspirations of those who want to get on.

They only get votes by bribing people with welfare and importing millions of immigrants in my view.

People on welfare have the some of the lowest turnouts and most immigrants can't even vote, try again.

Not sure what point you are trying to make here?

Your party is moving to a MULTI MILLION POUND office block in one of the most expensive parts of the world whilst you fight for INEQUALITY

LOL

I imagine most office blocks in London would be multi million pound office blocks, and last I checked Parliament is in London, and Westminister station, opposite the Houses of Parliament, is on the Circle line, which also serves Kensington, which on the tube most stops in Kensington are maybe 10-15 minutes away. The Party needs to have access to Parliament, and the BBC, among over locations in London to campaign for what they believe in

What has he done that actually increases inequality so far? Oh wait, it's nothing.
As I said before, Corbyn vary rarely visits HQ as he's off around the country fighting against this thing that you seem to imply he's doing nothing about because Labour moved to a new office. What's the point that YOU'RE trying to make?

Can always find a cheaper office. This is a PRIME PROPERTY. Multi-Multi million pound office block! Why not go to Hackney?

Labour is a joke, cannot wait for more benefit cuts.

So you have no point is basically what you're saying, you've yet to provide any real substance. So they moved to a bigger office, so what? What are you trying to say?

Hackney isn't as well served transport wise, and isn't in as good a location for the Labour Party's needs as a Party of Opposition, and future Party of Government. I agree they likely could have found somewhere cheaper, but they needed to move to a new office block as the old one simply no longer provided them with what they needed. With the surge in membership as well they have more money available to use

I have no doubt that Bill already knows this, he's merely spouting nonsense with no substance. It's quite embarrassing actually.

It depends on whether or not they get their act together. If it's not happened by 2017 then I won't be joining them.

Still some turning out is good for them. If 30% of a group turn out to vote for you and 0% turn out to vote for Tory that is still a gain.

Try again.
