help getting a girlfriend

I'm 18 and have never had a real relationship......
I have been intimate with girls but I never really had a girlfriend. Normally when asking for advice about this situation I get responses like "just be yourself" or "just talk to a girl" etc. most of the advice is generic crap and doesn't help at all......... also I can talk to girls but I don't like talking to strangers and if I were my usual self around girls I'm pretty sure they'd die of boredom.

so if anyone could tell me there experience with getting into a relationship with their boy/girlfriend it'd help.

My boyfriend didn't have his first relationship until he was 20. Just relax and eventually you'll find a girl who likes you as your usual self - you can't pretend to be someone you aren't forever, and even if you do it will just make you unhappy. Just go about your life and it will happen when you aren't expecting it

You just need to be confident! Don't be too cliche and generic! Laughter being funny is your best friend lol and be yourself! If someone doesn't like you for who you are then so what lol you can't be everyone's cup of tea, so just play to your strengths, be confident, funny and most of all respect women :smile:

being yourself is a good idea but if you randomly approach a guy let alone a girl it'll be super awkward, and most of the time people are always on their phones and when you speak to them your just being a burden.

The only way to make friends with people is only if your in the same class or similar situation where you'll be somewhat forced to talk to them.
