Equation help!

I'm stuck!
x/2x-1 +2/x+2=1

I did this:
x(x+2)/(2x-1)(x+2) + 2(2x-1)/(2x-1)(x+2)=1
x^2+6x-2=1
x^2+6x-3=0
Now i don't know what to do. Let me know what I need to do please!

Can you show how you worked out the quadratic equation from this
x(x+2)/(2x-1)(x+2) + 2(2x-1)/(2x-1)(x+2)=1.

I got a different quadratic equation.

Don't you know how to solve a quadratic?

The simplification is incorrect regardless.

I got a different quadratic equation.

x^2+2x/2x^2+3x-2 + 4x-2/2x^2+3x-2=1
x^2+6x-2=1
x^2+6x-3=0

I assume you mean x(x+2)(2x1)(x+2)+2(2x1)(2x1)(x+2)=1\frac{x(x+2)}{(2x-1)(x+2)} + \frac{2(2x-1)}{(2x-1)(x+2)}=1?
In which case I'm not sure how you got that simplification. I get: x(x+2)+2(2x1)(2x1)(x+2)=1\frac{x(x+2)+2(2x-1)}{(2x-1)(x+2)}=1
x(x+2)+2(2x1)=(2x1)(x+2)x(x+2)+2(2x-1)=(2x-1)(x+2)

From there expand the brackets and rearrange so the equation is equal to 0. Then solve like any other quadratic.

You got it?

You got it?

I think so.
X^2-3x=0

I think so.
X^2-3x=0

So x is 0 or 3?

If you've simplified correctly (I haven't checked your algebra!) those are the correct solutions to the quadratic equation you posted in your previous post

That is right
