Russian revolution

Can anyone please give me a good website which explains the russian revolution thoroughly but easily.
If you can find essays or videos on the provisional government and the tsar that would really help me!
For a year 10 student btw!

What kind of questions are you expecting?

Rough points I can remember;
-Weaknesses of Tsar Nicholas
- Timing of War and attitude to WW1
- The role of dumas
-the balance between Petrograd Soviet and Provisional Government
- The growth of Bolshevism
- The role of the military
- The Red Army
- International involvement

I love Russian history, so any questions welcome.

I think the question in the test will be speaking about the tsars weaknesses and why the provisional government failed.

Tsars weakness;
- German wife and scandal with Rasputin
- perceived as weak
- "Brought" Russia into WW1 and led from the battlefield, which wasn't going well
- incredibly wealthy
- Lost the Russo-Japanese war
- Offering of democracy (use of dumas) was pitiful and not successful. Resented

Research the above and see what you get.

Provisional Government failed because it was fighting a losing battle with Petrograd Soviet, who asserted dominance over it. The Provisional Govt was undermined by the Kornilov affair, which proved great propaganda for the Bolshevisks. They were also tied into WW1 and wanted to continue for the sake of war credits, at the cost of mass casualties, seen as deeply unpopular.

Those are some basics. Cover those and understand the mood in Russia at the time and you'll do okay.
