I'll be applying for environmental engineering, hopefully! I'm from India, currently doing the A2s.

What was it like studying BEd in HKU? I am thinking of putting it as my first or second. In fact i will put English language and BEd. What was the atmosphere like ? Were the prof good?

It should be very different now. I found it quite easy and didn't feel challenged much, but when i got to Oxford i did find that HKU had taught basically everything.

Did you find it boring then? :/ Did you do BEd+Eng or purely BEd ?

Hi everyone! sorry to interrupt..

I am from HK and studying A2 now in UK. Previous year, I got Maths(A), Econ(A), Physics(A), Design&Technology(A), Chinese(A) for my AS level. I got predicted Maths(A*) Physics(A*) Econ(A). I would like to apply for HKU, CUHK and UST.
these are my choices.
HKU: 1st:Accounting & Finance 2nd:Architectural Studies 3rd: Economics&Finance
CUHK: 1st:Architectural Studies 2nd: Professional Accountancy 3rd: Economics
UST: 1st: Accounting & Finance 2nd: Economics

I love both Accounting and Architect equally...I know they are not relevant..:P
Do I have a firm chance to get the offers? I really wish i can get both A&F and Archi from HKU and CUHK...its competitive but is it possible?? And do I need to write another Personal Statement and send to the Archi faculty if my PS on the online application is about A&F, am I allowed to do so?? I am so confused,....

I thought IBGM has to be your first choice in order to be considered?

Maths,Economics,Accounting and Business .
I've excluded Chinese and English Language ( I guess universities don't really consider language subjects right ? )

Oh my bad its global business at HKUST lolll. Good luck with your application! I personally prefer going abroad and studying at LSE or Oxford haha. Are you applying with Alevels? If you don't mind me asking, what are your grades

Well sure , I don't mind
4A's (Maths,Accounting,Economics and Business ) and 2A's (English Language and Chinese)( UNis don't count languages I believe )
