The Student Room Group

She laughed really loud at my silly joke?

In class we were supposed to get in groups of 6s to debate. I sat facing her.

On a few occasions, when I wasn't speaking, I caught her looking at me.

Then when I made a joke about a documentary we had just watched, I heard her burst out laughing, higher than anyone else in the class.

When I made her laugh before, her laughs were quiet giggly ones...

Why was this? Do you think she likes me?
Sounds to me like she just found the joke funny.

I made her laugh at every other joke though and she was giggling quietly which was different to the belted out and somewhat unatural one.

Every time we made eye contact she would be smiling at me.

Also on two occasions she would bump her leg into my and say sorry... I thought girls were very aware of contact like that?

Why are you over analysing every aspect of her behaviour?

Isn't it exhausting?

No, it isn't ... it's fun, it's intriguing and I love the chase. Don't make this personal please, because I feel like it's going that way already.

Threads like this make me laugh
Threads like this make me weep.

If you like her..ask her out. End of story!

Don't sit here and over analyse anything because unless you take action it'll get you absolutely nowhere.
It's possible but not definitive.

Maybe ask for her number, get talking to her and see how it goes.

stole the words right out of my mouth (or brain???)
it's getting exhausting to see these kinds of threads pop up so often, can't imagine what it must feel like to actually be the people posting them :colonhash:

From an outside perspective, it isn't healthy, trying to double guess and analyse everything a person does. It doesn't come across well usually either- girls are quite perceptive most of the time. Just ask her out.

If only he knew me.
TBH, I think she's starting to lose her marbles.
To be honest, it sounds like she was trying to assert her alpha female dominance of the classroom, by being louder than everyone else.
