Which one is the first example and which is the second?

What y coordiate did he/didn't he find?
In the second one the line crosses the y axis at 0 so maybe that's it?

The first example is the one under the X3 X^3 graph

The second example is the one under the X3 -X^3 graph

It doesn't matter whether you find where is crosses the x axis or the y axis first.

In the second example it crosses at 0,0 so there is no y intercept to find
