changing careers - second Bachelors or Masters?

Hi, I'm a teacher, been working at international schools for the past 7 years. I've already got a BSc in Psych + a PGCE.
But I'm soon turning 30 and I decided I want to completely change my career, im tired of teaching and not interested in psychology.

I'm still early into researching what I want to study; computing, business, or another science.

But whichever I choose, I'm running into the same dilemma I am unsure about:

Which one will be better for my job prospects:
A whole new Bachelors degree, or a Masters?

I would likely learn and develop my skills more on a 3 years Bachelors. However a Masters would be more applicable and specialised, if I pass the entry requirements (I see a lot of masters courses just want a general BSc and dont care about the specifics).

Has anyone been here? I would love any advice, it's overwhelming all the options available to me right now. .

Hi,
I can understand your dilemma. I think you need to decide what kind of job you want first and then contact the type of company you would like to be employed by. This way you can ask directly what skills/knowledge base they would be looking for. Look at the end game and work backwards if you know what I mean.
As above, I'd recommend to contact employers and research them first, then go from there.

If you determine that it is a more specific retraining you're after, and you're looking at IT/business, there are many 1 year courses you can do, which obviously is quicker and cheaper than a 3 year. You can also do extra reading if you have the time (in my experience many modules especially 1st year are based on a textbook).

In the UK you cannot get any kind of funding from the state for a second undergraduate degree. Does that help to shape your thinking?
