Hold on seriously one was in a tracksuit?

Yep. Grey joggers and a grey hoodie. Maybe applied for Primary with PE...?
Ok so interview one is over...

Started off with a talk and a tour of the campus... Then:

Had to do my 3 minute presentation to 2x school teachers 1x curriculum manager and 1x subject tutor

I was then asked questions on my topic

Then a formal interview which lasted 20 minutes with questions such as "what would you do if...."

Then a maths test... The questions were based on:

Trigonometric equations
Vectors
Differential analysis
Statistical tests approving or disproving a hypothesis based on the outcome

Absolutely solid...

P.s. No my PGCE is not maths!!

I definetly hope they don't ask me about that stuff for mine, I can live with programming and computational thinking questions but damn I haven't done that stuff for at least 15 years.

What is your PGCE by the way Lambert?

It's the "what would you do if..." questions that would stump me! For some, how on earth do you actually know what you would do if you've never had experience of something before?
Just got invited to UCL interview on the 24th! OMG so nervous

I applied on 28th too but I'm doing secondary. Hope there'll be news soon. You still have 2 weeks to prepare, good luck!
Just got an interview through for my first choice! So that's all three now! 18th, 20th and 26th (my 30th birthday sandwiched in there!). To say I'm nervous is an understatement!

Why did you get a maths test? Did they give you the topic of your presentation or could you chose it yourself?

Amazing news, 1 day to go hopefully until I can start the ball rolling as well.
Offer for UEL Primary :O
Today is a good day haha
I applied really late last year for PGCE, unsurprisingly I didn't get it.
Does anyone know if there is a way to look at at my previous application. Just so it can save me some time when filling out some of the sections such as the work experience one.

I asked ucas and they said it will cost me £10 to get a copy!!

Awesome! Congrats!!!
STILL waiting for one reference :banghead:
I thought, maybe if I complain here again, the reference will be done as it happened with the first one last week, haha.
No, seriously, I'm quite annoyed now. At least I've been told that my interview at school where I volunteer will be at the beginning of December.
My skills tests are on 28 November. I just want to have them done and not to think about them any more.

Good luck to those having their interviews soon.

Excellent news, congratulations!!
I have a PGCE interview coming up in which i have to prepare a 5 minute micro-teach episode on an area that interests me or a particular skill that i can teach to a group of adults (for example origami or tying a knot) Any ideas on what i could do would be extremely helpful as i am feeling slightly stressed on what to do and how to present myself in the best light?
