Media studies trailer help? please?

okay, so my story is going to be based on a schizophrenic teacher that has 2 sides to her- an evil and the bad. She can't control the bad side and kills of her students in brutal ways. She tries to get rid of the spirit by going to a priest and it is had but possible to get rid off, she HAS to get rid of the spirit as she is everywhere..

What can I improve about this brief summary of this trailer? Is it ok to say she's schizophrenic or should i suggest another illness? How can i include a graveyard scene? (i want to include it) THANK YOU!

A group of people are always going to be offended no matter what the story is unfortunately.

some people just have something negative to say about everything, regardless if it's offensive or not..

uh it is actually, you've got a completely wrong understanding of schizophrenia and media like this further perpetuates negative stereotypes of people with mental illness. It's uninformed opinions and media like what you plan to make that creates stigma towards people with schizophrenia as it paints them as being uncontrolled with multiple personalities and creates the idea of them being a danger to society.

actually, I decided not to make it about schizophrenia. Ever heard/read the book Jekyll Hyde? It's about a guy with a disorder (multiple personality) AKA A MENTAL ILLNESS- that kills people... it's not regarded as offensive, don't take things too seriously.

If you're going to make a film about people with mental illness, you really need to do some research into that mental illness first, seriously.

Yeah, sorry I shouldn't have said schizophrenia (my media studies teacher suggested it) and I changed that... I asked other questions based on it to, why is everyone focused on that alone?
You do know that Schizophrenia and split personality disorder are two different illnesses right?

Why does she see a priest? If she has an evil spirit, then it's not a mental illness, so they'd be no need for any mention of mental illness.

well you're the one who mentioned schizophrenia in your original post

You're being ignorant and ignoring someone who knows more on the topic of mental illness than you. Oh yes, the famous book 'Jekyll Hyde', that's definitely the actual title :yep: Your teacher should not have approved this idea for a film and frankly should show more tact in what media they allow to be produced in their class.

Sounds good..... But i guess you can't please everyone. Some people are just too sensitive.

Erm, don't come on my threads calling me ignorant, I am not a specialist when it comes to mental illnesses, but don't get rude to me on my threads,- And did I not agree? I yes 'Actually, I changed it' wtf are you on about?:/

Yes! Well done for getting the title correct, props to you and YES IT'S BASED ON A MENTAL ILLNESS, which is in no way regarded offensive. It's just a media trailer for my media coursework, my God it's not going to be published around the world, relax.

Thanks, some people are so bloody annoying, love to take to seriously and address you're being offensive when it's the last thing you're trying to do :/
Seriously, this is coursework and you couldn't come up with something better?

I won't call you ignorant when you stop being ignorant  You don't have to be a specialist, just do at least a little research before making a media trailer based on it?

There's no need to be so defensive, how hard would it be to say 'oh, I never realised that my idea would be considered offensive, I'll do some research and adapt my idea'.

I'm sorry, I must be typing a different language- can you not read? I SAID MY MEDIA STUDIES TEACHER SUGGESTED IT! . Yeah, um maybe next time you need to think how you re-word things because you really did come across as being rude at first.

Unnecessary. It's OP's coursework and she can choose to write about whatever she wants to frankly, whether it's to your liking or not.
