David cameron to give half a billion pounds for immigration crisis

David Cameron will give Africa & Turkey half a billion pounds to stop immigrants getting to Europe.

Is this a waste of money? should the money be better spent on UK border controls? would Africa & Turkey just take the money & not do anything to stop the influx?

The countries in Africa affected have already rejected the offer. They have huge problems and a few more tens of millions each won't make a dent.

The sad reality is that things are only going to get worse for the countries bordering the Sahara as global warming proceeds and they are deeply depressed economically, due to poor water supplies, destruction of agriculture and the wars that are often associated with these things.

It is very likely that short of bombing the boats from the air, Europe is going to become very African over the next 50 years.
