I have applied for management science and received the questionnaire. While going through the course structure, I found out that the degree requires you to select an engineering science minor at the end of year 2. Do you know what all that minor comprises of? I tried searching for it on their website to no avail. I'm a business student and so don't know if i'll be able to manege a minor related to engineering


may I ask when UCL usually send off the questionnaire after the application?

I sent my UCAS application off yesterday (11th) got the questionnaire this morning (12th).

With those grades I'm sure you'll be fine.

It was probably because they were waiting till they had a certain number of applications before sending out the questionnaires

Do UCL focus more on the grade or personal statement?
As I am not sure whether my personal statement is good enough to get an offer

I'm not sure but I think they do place quite a lot of emphasis on your personal statement because on the open day they said that they're looking for really diverse people. So I guess if you stand out in terms of your personal statement and your questionnaire you should get an offer. I think all they care about in terms of grades, is that you meet the entry requirements.

Deadline for me is tomorrow, going to try and send it off tonight.

I wouldnt expect it to be soon, i have a feeling that they won't start giving offers till after the deadline :frown:

Well its quite a new course and theres pretty much no other course like it, so its probably really popular because of that and they're only taking like 60 people i think :frown:

Well what does it mean then that total intake for 2015 was 161 students??????

I think that is across the whole department but on the open day im pretty sure they said they were only taking around 60 students
