Me too - but at 4 pm. I haven't accepted/declined yet as I'm supposed to hear, by today, if I was successful in another route....

What did you apply for at UCL? I'm Science (Chemistry)...there's no way I'll have the experience in the classroom that they are looking for.

I think I'd prefer a 4PM start! Although my one finishes then so perhaps they do two sessions of interviews per day...

I applied for their primary pgce. Why don't you think you'll get the experience? Isn't it just ten days? Good luck with whichever route you go for 😄

Earlier this afternoon I decided to withdraw my application to Kings.

Just a few minutes ago, UCAS finally updated and I was able to firm the Cambridge offer!

Congratulations!

I've accepted an offer for primary at Cambridge. So excited! When do you reckon we will find out what colleges we're in?
Nice one!! I've also accepted a school direct place! What subject? Secondary English for me!

Woohoo! Yesterday I got offered a place for a schools direct and got two invitations to interview, for Oxford and Leicester. I'm so happy!
To the person who mentioned the qts numeracy book written by Tom o'toole or something - one of the reviews say that it's got lots of mistakes in it and they've uploaded pics of the pages :/
I have a Goldsmiths interview on the 15th and then my university of Cumbria one the following day... Would it be justifiable for me to postpone the goldsmiths one (which I only saw because I checked my junk mail :/ don't know why they keep going there, same with UCL)?

I'm thinking to just suck it up and do both. Going to have a really stressful birthday 😓

I saw that! But then I looked at my version and it was fine, so i am not too sure what that's about.

Oooh. I've looked at the reviews for every single numeracy book available and the one starred ones always say there are errors either in the answers or the write up. Weird... I may purchase your book anyway or stick to online help.
I feel I'm getting close to being ready for the numeracy test, I just hope the tests are similar to what I've been learning and practicing! In the past few tests on the practice ones I've got 78%, 75%, 92% and 92%. I feel I will be ready hopefully and won't be thrown of course by some stupid question in the actual test!
I hoping to do primary pgce 🙈 had my interview at Goldsmiths on Monday and got an offer an hour later ! Also got an interview at UCL in January ,still studying for the numeracy skills test 😊not ideal coming up to Christmas lol

I'm doing primary hopefully, what about you?

Odd that you haven't had an email, I had an email with a link to confirm attendance that you had to enter your details, and then a second like with everything you need to prepare/bring with you on the interview. I would definitely email or call!

I think the difference could be that I'm (probably) doing a course under a different department to you, so there is probably a difference in the system.
The teacher training I'm doing is with the Centre for Lifelong Learning and is a diploma (rather than certificate) in education.

Good luck for your tests! I am nervous about the interview, this time next week, I'll be there. 😨😨 I'm very nervous, and I still haven't heard from my other two choices.

I'll let you know any tips if I can, though I guess we are applying for quite different courses too?

I received my interview invitation from UCL about three weeks ago and it's still not on UCAS yet. UCAS said that it's up to the uni whether they want to update your interview status on Track. Don't worry too much about that. Contacting the uni and confirming your attendance is not a bad idea. Good luck with it!

Thanks; good luck to you too!
I'm doing PGCE early years. Any tips would be appreciated.

Did the professional skills tests yesterday and passed, but I have to say that I'm very unhappy with the administration.
I had to take off my fleece, scarf and rain coat on what was a freezing day, I was not allowed to take water in (and I drink a lot when under pressure for some reason) and was not even allowed to take my glasses or tissues in.
No doubt if I had proof of needing glasses they would have let me take them in, but I didn't even think of bringing that.
Some of the graphs were so small and detailed that I really struggled and had to peer close and use my pencil to count the number of lines/squares between different points etc. Then due to the brightness of the screen I came out of the room slightly blinded/dazed.

Just thought I would forewarn others.

I'm surprised you weren't allowed to take your glasses!

I know that their checks are beyond ridiculous but once they'd visually checked my glasses for bluetooth devices I was allowed to put them back on.

I would honestly write a letter of complaint about that, it's really not on.

Well done on passing though!

Ah, apologies. Yeah that is probably it. Good luck with it! Is it your first choice?
This time next week I will have had two interviews. Eek...
Good luck and congrats to everyone with interviews and offers

And to those working in a school currently: Only 5 more get ups!

Lol, don't worry, you didn't know!

It is my first choice, but only if they are able to offer the maths specialism this year.
How about you? -- best of luck!

Yeah, Mine is English specialism  and it is my first choice, but I will be happy with any of the three I have applied for really! Thanks!
Congrats!! I'm the same, withdrew an application to Durham yesterday and waiting on UCAS updating so I can confirm Cambridge - secondary English, here I come. What course are you doing?

That makes no sense RE the glasses! I wouldn't be able to see if they didn't let me take mine in. Did you have them in a case or something?
