I can squat 90kg and deadlift 120kg already?

I've only started to go the gym about 3 weeks ago - 2/3 times a week. I also eat plenty of proteins and have gained 4-5 kg since.

I weigh 92kg, I'm 6''4 and 21 years old. Probably aiming for 100kg.

Is 90kg squat any good? What about 120kg deadlift.

My mate, who is quite hench, is the same height and has been to the gym longer than me can't squat more than 90kg... I'm astonished that I'm that strong.

Is this good?

How should I increase the weights?

Not that kind of fat lol
Keep up the good work :yy:
You must have taken PE seriously when you were younger. And had lots of protein when you were growing up.

I was half arsed with PE at school tbh... I'm still quite skinny, but I've been noticing some changes, especially in the back and biceps.

Put more of them on the bar.

Usually works for me.

Duh!

I mean should I go up by 5s or 10s?
Tbh 90kg for your build isn't amazing, it's a good start though, same with deadlift.
Pretty impressive if it's your first time. Did you play explosive sports when you were younger like rugby?

Nothing of the sort

Bit of football here and there, and then some boxing during the summer... a bare minimum!

Fair, if you keep working then you'll make some serious gains. I'm the same height as you but started off far skinnier and weaker haha
its good for how long you have been lifting, but not for your bodyweight
i could do 90KG after 6 months, but i started at 40KG lol

I just can't wait for the day I hear "You been lifting?" haha!

I might take up boxing more seriously when I hit my aims

Well to be fair, after the 3 weeks, I went from 20kg (just the bar, no weights), to 40kg, to 60kg and then went for 90kg. My mate was like "wth?"
for your bodyweight (90kg) it's not impressive but keep up the good work

There's no way you're skinny at 92kg at 6'4''
Seems like an Awesome Genius thread./

He's between skinny and average but not big unless he's ridiculously lean
