seeing as they have started to give out interviews for february, does that mean if you are a graduate applicant you haven't got an interview seeing as they interview graduates/gap year/international in january??

Hi,
is anyone else still waiting to hear from UCL with a similar sort of profile?

Bmat: 5.4,5.2, 4A
GCSEs: 10A*s
A levels: A,A,A,A (biology, chem, maths, english lit)
Predictions: A* A* A* A (A in maths, I took C3 and C4 early and didn't get an A* in the C3 paper..)

I was also asked about 2 weeks ago for my UMS (over 95 in everything except one chem that I was ill for and C3), and I also had to upload details of my work experience.

....I know that UCL gives out interviews on a rolling basis and this question can be seen as quite big headed and arrogant, but I'm just really worried that something is wrong in my application! Is it my bmat? Thanks

Hey, I'm still waiting with vaguely similar stats. (I think)

I'm a Scottish applicant though so grades are a little different!

BMAT was disappointing: 5.7,4.6, 5A
Standard grades: 8As (no A*s in Scotland!)
Highers: 6As (3 sciences, maths, English, Spanish)
Advanced highers: 4As (bio, chem, English and art)

Extra academic stuff: scholarship, top of year prizes in English, art and Spanish, biology gold Olympiad award

Extracurriculars: prefect, competitive rower of 4 years, lead in string quartet and orchestra section, in 4 choirs, life drawing...

Voluntary: 2 years in a charity shop, 1 in a care home specialising in dementia, 2 weeks construction on a primary school and fundraising for medical supplies abroad

Work experience: 2 weeks total, including wards, operating theatre, GP shadowing etc

I don't think we should stress just yet! I hope. I think my PS was decent so I feel it's my BMAT that's letting me down right now

Don't know the answer to your question but I must say I'm a fan of your username
Reckon only half the invites have been given out seeing as they still have interviews running up until the middle of march
Well guys.. UCL said they give international applicants interview in January, so since there're people getting interview dated in February alrdy, does it mean the remaining international applicants do not stand a chance anymore 😭

I'm international too :/

This is on Portico
"If you are selected for interview we will email to let you know the arrangements. Interviews begin in December and continue to early March. During January we primarily invite graduate applicants, overseas students and those currently taking a gap year. We endeavour to give at least two weeks notice on an interview to UK-based students. We will try to give more time to overseas students to allow for travel arrangements to be made."

Cheer up! If they thought you didn't stand a chance they would have rejected you by now. The fact that they haven't should please you

Hey there thanks for those words! But from what I saw from 2014 UCL thread, someone actually was in the same situation as us and emailed UCL and they told him they're "on their way" sending out rejections 😭😭😭😭😭😭
UCL give out interviews on a rolling basis so i think its safe to assume all the jan interview dates are full thats not to say they won't interview internationals and gap years in feb
