Analytical had a few tricky questions, hope I did enough to get through to the next round.

Good luck to all who has yet to take the tests.

Just about to do mine. Uh oh.

Apparently only the top ~ 620 from stage 2 tests go the AC.
Just completed the logical deductive reasoning - 25 mins.

Going to do the analysis numerical one now. Wish me luck! Good luck to all those sitting them over the next 24 hours and to those who have already sat theirs!
31st December!

Just smashed the analysis one. Feeling really confident!

Can I close the browser and return using the same link to do the other test another time? Really want to sleep...

Good luck to everyone doing theirs still!

Just did the tests! The deductive reasoning one I loved, but that's because I would consider it as one of my strengths! Does the timing matter? Because if it doesn't, I don't see why they would time the test? As in, say it was out of 25 and they had to decide between some people who all had the same mark, but one did it in 20 minutes, the other in 40 and the other in an hour. Surely they'd then use it as a deciding factor?

I was really dreading the analytical, hence why I left the tests to the last weekend! But I actually thought it was straight forward apart from a few questions which is making me wonder now if I've misunderstood the questions!

Good luck for anyone still to take theirs!
Finished the numerical analysis one.

Not sure how that went. This is my third round at this.

1st time round i scored enough for an assessment centre but was put on a reserve list because competition was high.
2nd time round I went to the assessment centre but scored just short and offered a HO post

Maybe this time round I will be ok lol!!! Heres hoping!

If you do enough to get passed their 'minimum requirement' its all down to the competition you are facing with other candidates. There could be genuis candidates in it this year lololololol

Wow I hope you get it this year! Definitely third time lucky for you!
Which areas did you apply for?
And by competition do you mean they go back to look at our original application with our grades/experience/extracurricular?
After reading through last year's thread, it appears that you only have to pass a threshold for the logical test (not sure how high this would be) and the main decider of progression to next stage is the analytical score. Gutted as I'm pretty confident I got 100% in logical, dont know if my numerical will be good enough!

Meant to add that this is why times not that important as the main decider is analytical. They only time it to make sure you're literally not spending hours googling every answer I imagine!

Well done. Yes you can, don't leave it too late!

That sucks. I feel the same way in that I thought I had like 100% and did it in 34 minutes so was hoping that was my banker test! To be fair though, I didn't find the analytical too challenging, but maybe that's because I expected the worst case scenario! Which areas did you choose?

Thanks! I'm gonna do it tomorrow morning, I think. Way too tired right now!
Just completed the logical test . fairly easy, was expecting something really challenging

I know sucks, altho I haven't seen hmrc confirm this so still hope it's not true! I don't know why I couldn't get my head around the first few questions, even though when I think about it now they seem simple think I let the pressure get to me! The rest was easy though. I only choose Newcastle how about you?

I hope so too! Fingers crossed! Yeah, see a lot of people have said that so I was expecting to not be able to answer the first few questions. They took a bit of time but I felt they were a lot more straightforward than I expected. I had used jobtestprep advanced numerical practice tests to prepare and they were harder so maybe that's why! I only chose Edinburgh and Glasgow! The 31st can't come quick enough!! I hate the waiting :P

All done. Decided to do it tonight instead of tomorrow.

31st happens to be my birthday... It's either going to be a great birthday or a terrible one!
I can get confirmation on the Kenexa link that my tests are complete but on the HMRC portal, status is still 'Invited to Online Test', right?

And do our test marks mean anything at the AC stage or will it purely be on our performance on the day?
Hi Everyone,

Just completed the Analytical Test with 42 seconds to spare. However, on completion it said my time was 1:00:42. Did anyone else get anything like this ?
