It's debatable whether or not it's fast food. Either way you're still missing out in life.

Tbh, it basically is just a chicken shop place, made to be a bit more upmarket, with a more "restaurant" feel to it.. That's about it
Where's the poll option for 'I wouldn't be caught dead in a Nando's'?

What spice level do you usually get in nandos?

Extra extra hot. I've only been once in the last few years though.

Voted extra hot in the poll.

I either feel like lemon and herb or extra hot, there's no inbetween

I forgot to add it along with the "I like being a rebel hipster who hates what most people like" option.

Yes, you've got me. I lie about the spiciness of my cheeky nandos meal to impress socially awkward prepubescent boys on a student forum so that I feel fulfilled and accepted

Well done for admitting it as it's not easy.

I have been caught out, had to tell the truth

In fact I can't even handle plain, I ask for unseasoned cooked chicken like a true white girl
I always opt for the extra-hot, which isn't even really that hot IMO . I love my hot and spicy food, and there are plenty of much hotter Indian, Chinese and Nigerian foods

First time I went, I tried Mango and Lime because I was scared. Couldn't even taste a trace of spice.

Second time, I moved up to medium. Still could only detect very little spice.

Third - now on hot. It's better but still not as hot as I'd like. Don't go to Nandos often, but next time I'll try the extra hot to see if it finally reaches my desired spice levels :borat:

Thing is, I doubt it will be. Going to Asia in between the first and second time pretty much numbed my senses to spice. Think: accidentally eating birdseye chilli.
