Does it mean you are scary if someone has a nightmare about you?

A dude from my high school had a nightmare I was trying to kill him in a theme park; he works for the British Army so surely there would be scarier things to have nightmares about?

I'm not sure anyone on TSR at this time even knows that a literary device is; there are many people of different academic backgrounds here on TSR and there won't be many on at this time who can help you. If you post your question, say, at 7pm (because that's when most users are in) in the English literature/ language section you will get a lot more replies
