well done on the AC! good luck
Just wondering, do you know if you can claim travel or accommodation expenses? At such short notice, both are going to cost a bomb :'(

Yes you can up to £35. I'm sure it's negotiable though if the prices will be high because of them giving you very short notice.

Thank you! Im not sure about expense claims, luckily Im living in London for uni, but you could just give the recruitment team a ring - their number should be at the bottom of the email. They're really friendly lol called to see if I could more information regarding the AC but they gave nothing D:
Does anyone who is not UK citizen? I haven't heard back anything after the gold test as well and my visa is going to expire very soon...so stressed>.<
Has anyone that applied to a specialist role heard back yet?

Seems only that generalists have

It seemed to me that those who said that they got through to the ac were mostly economists?

Yeah I think that's what's happened. I applied for actuarial so I could be in for a wait haha.

How was your assessment centre btw?

Yes I applied for economist specialist track, going to have the AC next tuesday (12th)...in the email they said it is difficult to reschedule the AC day because it is "skills based". Which means the AC are per department so my interpretation is that it might take them time to go through all the eligible applicants if it is like last year (8 people per AC).

Hi, how did the AC go?

They told us we probably won't here before Feb which contradicts the info on their website (within a week of AC)... But sb else posted that the uninvited candidate should here by the end of this week so presumably they should already have some idea about how many ppl from this weeks acs they want to offer jobs to?

The AC was fun actually, people were great and the whole thing is slightly different from the usual acs I have attended so far-nothing to worry about though and you can only really prepare for the interview bit anyway.

Hi guys, i was just invited to an AC and its for a generalist role, I'm pretty sure I applied for a specialist role on the application. Anyone know what the difference is really?

Also does anyone else know what the AC will consist of? The email doesn't give away much detail other than having an interview and group exercises

Hi,
How did it go? What should I expect?)

Hi Who has AC on Monday and what division did you mention in the interview ?
Are there any other non-economists who haven't heard back yet?
I know someone mentioned they were working in batches, but as there's only 13 days of ACs left I'd have expected to have heard either way by now. Was planning to wait and see before returning to uni but it's dragging aha...

And, did anyone receive a confirmation email after finishing Profiling / Analytical tests, have realised I didn't, which seems abnormal; and the application site simply says I've been invited to complete those tests.

hey i'm in the same position as you - generalist, haven't heard back, no confirmation email and no change on the application site! guess we just have to keep waiting...

Phew okay, at least that's reassuring nothing went wrong and it's just taking a while.

It's amusing, a different application I've done in 4 days and got to a similar stage, compared to the 3 months since I started this one lol.

Waiting game then  GL btw!
