First Kraftwerk's albums still had instruments:

Fair point, although I was mostly trying to say that just because music is electronic doesn't mean it has "no instruments".

Him and Justin Bieber are the cancers of popular music, completely talentless tools who are only famous because 14 year old girls rub their clits to them.

You forgot 1D or the Jenas Brothers in this category.
Entire EDM spectrum from hardstyle to glitch hop to house
The following will be as pearls before swine to roughly 95% of previous contributors, but no matter:

Spoiler

Music is my lifelong, consuming passion; name (virtually) any genre under the sun—yes, even metal—and I'll recommend you something unforgettable.

I dont have an active dislike for 1D since they arent douchebags like Justin Bieber or Chris Brown, but yeah they are ****ty as well but I guess every generation needs a ****ty boyband. and the Jonas Brothers are no longer together.
Indie rock mainly. Wish my taste was more broad but just can't really get into anything else.

Stone Roses, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Courteeners, Oasis, The Strokes etc

IDM (intelligent dance music) but i think thats a rather pretentious name for a genre so i prefer to call it "experimental glitch" or something

I like prog metal as well, mostly jazz influenced

Not all idm is glitch tho.

Anything really! I quite like indie and acoustic music. But I am pretty open to anything. Currently listening to Ingrid Michaelson. What is your favourite song?

I dont have a specific favourite but Arctic Monkeys are the bomb.

Metalcore, posthardcore, pop-punk, alternative metal and classical.
I listen to most things from cheesy 90's euro pop to thrash metal.

But favourite genres are Avant-garde metal and deathgrind.

I get why people like Maiden - powerful catchy riffs. Metallica and the like have powerful riffs but they're rarely catchy. It's all CHUG CHUGH ChUG "YEAH YEAAAH" CHUG CHUG CHUG to me.

Motorhead. Far superior to Metallica and the same kind of style (if you take their more mid-tempo stuff).

There's no taking away from Iron Maiden. It's a bit operatic for my tastes, but those boys can play.
