Edexcel M1 Vectors - Ex6B, Q5

I am stuck on this question. I will give the description in case you don't have the book:

"OABC is a square. M is the mid-point of OA, and Q divides BC into the ratio 1:3. AP and MQ meet at P. If OA = *a* and OC = *c*, express OP in terms of *a* and *c*".

I have got to a point with two equations and I think I am supposed to compare the coefficients but I don't know how that works. Can anyone explain?

Thanks

It's easy...lets do it together...draw the shapes and let's play with Pythagoras.
