french essay can someone tell me if it s good or not

Mes Vacances

Bonjour Je m'appelle Sophie. L'anné derniére J'ai passé une

semaine à Paris. J'y suis allèe en avion avec ma grand-mere. Je ne

suis pas fan de le vol car je pense que c'est effrayant. D'abord on

a mangè au restaurant, Ensuite on a fait une balade en bateau

mouche. Ensuite on a visitè la tour Eiffel où on a pris des photos.

Apres on a admirè la pyramide du louvre où on a achetè des

souvenirs. Finalement on a attendu le bus et on a bu un coca.

Ensuite on a fait un tour de la segway. L'annè prochaine , Je

voudrais aller à Rome.

Important things to note:

•

The past participle for regular -ER verbs is the verb with the -ER removed and é in its place, not è - i.e. je suis allé(e)

•

Watch your presentation, i.e. " , Je voudrais", that's just laziness

•

You must vary your vocabulary, especially connectives, I read ensuite at least 3 times

•

Again about presentation, make sure what you're saying actually makes sense. You can't use "finalement" and then go back in with "ensuite", because you're contradicting yourself as "finally" suggests you're making your final point.

•

Watch how you're using é and è. As a general tip, if you're not sure which one to use, use é as it's the one you'll see most often, at least at GCSE. But you should know how to spell simple words like année, not annè

FTAO CheeseIsVeg: you don't say "plusiers de photos", but plusieurs photos, with a U and no DE

Yeah FrenchTranslator should have at least proof-read. "Car je les trouve effrayants" is the way to go.

Also "je n'aime pas trop les vols" sounds a bit weird in French when dealing with planes, since "vol" means both "flight" and "theft".

Best way to go would be : "J'y suis allée en avion avec ma grand-mère, mais j'ai peur en avion, donc je ne n'ai pas du tout aimé." Something along those lines.
