This 100%. I would always push my children to wait until they're of legal age and are completely sure they want to have sex with their partner. But ultimately if my daughter wants to have sex with her boyfriend then there's no real way of stopping them. I'd rather they be safe and comfortable than go and do it in a park or something. I would have a long chat with her and try to persuade her to wait but it's her decision in the end.

what if she wanted to do crack? I mean obviously you can't lock her in her room but we can be a bit less soft in controlling our children to wait until they're mature enough to have sex. I mean someone at the age of 15 might as well have sex with someone and experience SERIOUS emotional harm. Have you heard about the 18 year old girl who took part in a porno and then killed herself? Obviously that's really intense but the point being is that sexuality have emotional consequences.

Both tennis and watching a movie are often done openly and discussed in conversation publicly. Religion doesn't say anything about either of those activities either so it can't really be compared..

While sex is hardly something you'd speak to your grandma about... sex is quite often not only spoken about publicly... but also done openly.... god have you ever had a discussion with you're close mates or been to a pub? A large amount of conversations often are about sex!

Well, of course I'd talk about sex with close friends, but I wouldn't talk about sex openly with a complete stranger as you would do with leisure activities..
'Hey what do you like to do for fun'
'I like having sex'
.....

There's a reason why those public conversations about sex occur in pubs..

Done openly? As in porn? So would you casually watch porn on your phone while you're out and about? Or perhaps on your iPad on a long train journey?

haha relative strangers most certainly do... not a common discussion, but it sure does happen

Have you eve been on public transport? Many people do.... as do many women read erotic literature on public transport... remember the 50 shades of gray craze?
If I felt she was mature enough, and trusted both her and her boyfriend, then yes I would allow it.

Teens experiment, it's what they do.

What's relative strangers?

Whilst I wouldn't read that sort of stuff publicly, erotic literature or even 50 shades of grey isn't the same as full blown porn on your screen. I'm sure that if you saw a girl or boy in their early teens reading that stuff, you'd have an opinion about it.

I asked you if you would watch porn on your tablet on a long commute the same way you would watch a movie or a football game..
Disturbing to see the amount of people that are OK with this. I don't care if this comes across as harsh but if you're OK with your 15 y/o daughter getting fuc*ed in your own house then you don't deserve to have children. Absolutely spineless.

Lmao as if I care. People on this forum will say anything to make you think you're wrong. Disgusting that this type of attitude exists. SHE'S 15.
If I ever caught something like that in my house God knows I'm spraying his ass full of lead.
why cant they f*** off into their own place and do it there. i dont want to bear witness to their disgusting rutting. ill do the jail time i dont give a damn. they will be dead to me if i came upon them rutting.
I would want her to be able to feel okay talking to me and asking about it, although I'd be very uncomfortable if it actually happened because 15 is too young IMO. I would never allow it under my roof and make a rule that she would have to keep her bedroom door open whenever her boyfriend is in there. However, I would have a chat with her on staying safe and give her birth control just in case.

I'm not saying you ARE a prude, but yes, the fact that you'd feel disgusted if your son/daughter were to have sex in your house, along with your personal view on sex education at home, your posts do seem prudish.

There's nothing wrong with that; my parents probably wouldn't appreciate it since they're very traditional but as long as no one's being disturbed, I wouldn't care :dontknow: We're talking about adults here.

Now everything you said is irrelevant, I'm talking about my children having sex in my house. If my children who are adults came over and had sex in my house, it wouldn't really bother me. It's when my teenagers are having sex in their bedroom, obviously that would bother me. It's hardly "prudish"...:colonhash:

Typical racist Indian, then.
I would not allow my 15 year old daughter to break the law by having sexual intercourse with a boy in her room, nor would I allow her to have boys over in her room. I think using power as parents by threatening to kick her out of the house the moment she turns 18, to refuse her any inheritance, to stop her having access to things in the house, and to start raising her with a strong set of morals from a young age is a good tool to stop her becoming promiscuous, to keep her in line, and instil manners in her; I would do the same for a son.

**** no.

If she even knows how to spell the word 'sex' at 15 I'm sending her straight to a nunnery.

Prude. :u:
