Everyone stop arguing with driftawaay. None of us will change her opinion and she won't change ours, so why don't you all just stop arguing about it? Whether or not you think it should be illegal, it is. Everyone has their own opinions so let's just leave each other alone and let bygones be bygones?

What are women mad about when they fall victim to "revenge porn"? That their actions have repercussions. They should become aware that the State isn't supposed to be there to hold their hands so they can be sluts without expecting any backlash.

Women should either have more investment in the men they choose, long term, or they should stop taking photos and video for perverts. Alternatively, don't cry when your degeneracy and clumsiness comes to bite you on the behind.

Exactly.

Thank you for basically calling me a sociopath rofl let me go out and drown some puppies :colone:
It's more the principle of the subjectivity of moral values than a personal attack. She clearly has distinct moral values but given they are decidedly irrational (insomuch that they do not serve self interest, except in the way of conscience ie. must act well towards people else feel bad) they, therefore, should not be used as some sort of superior argument to what we might consider laws that everybody (sociopaths included) agree on. It makes sense this way.

Wrong. You give them the picture with the understanding that they have the right to look at it, but not to distribute it and they post it online. If you give someone a book, you they are not allowed to simply produce hundreds of copies of the book and hand it out to people on the street. They are also not entitled to scan it in and post it on the internet.

That is honestly the most flawed comparison I have ever heard on the subject.

How is uploading a picture of someone in any way similar to photocopying an entire book and handing it to people on the street?

No seriously please explain that.

here you are failing to have any valid arguments so you resort to 'witty' comments rofl

Didn't I already beat you in an argument today? Do you think you will have better luck this time?

Then stop talking about rubbish that you don't agree with.
Goodness. What a pitiful philosophy. With this attitude, even with your super stellar, rock solid moral values, how on earth do you expect any progression, in any sense of the word? :lolwut: Bananas.

That's a non-sequitur. Surely, if I wanted a greater chance of getting laid, I would encourage hedonism and sexual liberalism at every corner. You need to try harder.

There comes a point of learned despondency. It is what happened to Elliot Rodger. You know you won't success, all hope is lost, and you resort to bitterness and general spitefulness.

No, it was the other way around. There you have your answer.

No. It's cherry.

What have I said that comes off as bitter and spiteful? You're attacking my character and not my argument. Man up and address my argument with a real rebuttal.

I agree. Your funny emojis really won the day. xD

She said she knows it's wrong and she doesn't agree with it at all, so what is there to argue? I'm beginning to think she's enjoying the attention.

Almost everyone in this thread has a victim complex the size of big ben. They'll argue against you because they don't want to have to take responsibility for their actions in case they screw up. They're type to ask for muh government to cottonwrap them, instead of growing a proverbial pair and taking responsibility for themselves.

I feel like today's youth is becoming more and more like this and it's just sad. It's like they took 'Here's to never growing up' by Avril Lavigne way too seriously. :frown:

I like how you condemn an attack on character and then use that as a tactic.

I'm yet to hear a good argument against my contention that your comments about empathy are a shame tactic, since they have no universal basis. Am I to conclude that you agree, given this answer?

Well, you called people who send nudes sluts and you called people who receive nudes perverts. That suggests a deal of antipathy here and came off to me as slightly bitter.

And saying that people who send nudes are sluts does not strike me as an argument, so I am somewhat lost as to what I should rebut?
@Zargabaath I would have been embarrassed and deleted that, as well.

I agree, what a stupid, dimwitted view to have lmao.

It's like saying "Right, you've told the doctor you've got cancer, it's his information now. He can go out and tell all these randomers about it. Don't like it? Oh, sorry you shouldn't have told him, should have kept it to yourself".

Another completely flawed comparison.

1) You don't tell the doctor you have cancer, they diagnose you. Huge difference.
2) The doctor works under the medical profession whereby there are laws of confidentiality protecting the patient's information.
3) This protection does not exist for married couples let alone boyfriend/girlfriend relationships. If you think anything you share with a boyfriend/girlfriend is confidential information then you are nothing if not extremely naive.

Have you got anything to say to justify your viewpoint?

I'm convinced Avril Lavigne is a vampire, she never actually did grow up. She looks as good now as she did years ago. Shame I can't say the same about her music.

I can't stand this attitude myself, I hate the idea of more laws being passed on us because people are morons. We lose freedom because they can't live properly. These are the same people who'll sit around on their arse until they're like 28 then start moaning how unfair society is when they see others their age actually taking their life into their own hands.

It wasn't polished, I couldn't word it well enough. You get the intention behind it though :h:
