Which is exactly why I put him on my ignore list, we were not even debating the issue at hand anymore, he was just being obnoxious and trollish, you gotta put a stop to it after a while. lol

You're not right.
Why should people be constantly reminded of their mistake? Bearing in mind that sexting usually occurs in teenagers and young people so they shouldn't be paying the price for it for the rest of their life.
We all make mad choices. How would you like it if a bad decision you made at the age of 16 was looming over your head forever?

I had a brain when I was 16 so I didn't make any choices that will loom over my head forever. :h:

None of what you say makes any sense, your leaked nude at 16 isn't going to affect your life forever, so your ex uploads it on some porn site? First of all you can get it taken down, it's very easy to do since revenge porn is illegal now, second, even if you couldn't, there are so many porn videos that the chances of anyone randomly coming across your porn video or nude picture on a site are miniscule. Secondly, the pictures would not be passed on and distributed for the rest of your life, since it is ILLEGAL and people would not be sharing them if you instructed them to take it down. It couldn't get to a point where it got completely out of hand and there was no way to erase it, since you aren't Paris Hilton so it won't be distributed on a significant scale where it 'looms over your life forever'.

Your idea that if you do something bad at 16, you shouldn't have to pay for it for te rest of your life is incredibly stupid, however. 16 year olds are not 7 year olds, they can legally get married, have sex and so on. If a 16 year old murders someone, they will be prosecuted and they won't be let off just because 'they are only 16, they just made a bad decision'. Stop infantalizing teenagers, if they are mature enough for sexting then they are mature enough to handle the consequences, and if you don't think so, then surely you should advocate making it illegal for teenagers to send nudes of themselves to anyone. People like you constantly come out with these insane statements, everybody is allowed to do whatever they want, teenagers should be having sex etc, it's none of anybody's business, but they shouldn't be held accountable for their actions because they are babies. Make up your mind.

This is the biggest problem of this generation, everybody thinks they are entitled to do whatever they want and when they suffer the consequences of their stupidity, no one is allowed to call them out on it, we all have to sit in a circle and hold their hands. No.

You probably did make a bad choice, but you're lucky that it wasn't documented for all to see.

Of course it can affect your life forever. I know it is illegal but according to you, it shouldn't be illegal so therefore it wouldn't be taken down if it were legal.

Word gets around you know, especially with youngsters and the wide range of social media. It wouldn't be hard for someone to find out a name or see it linked to someone's social media page and bam.
I'm not sure why you keep going back to the issue of legality. Your point is that it 'shouldn't be illegal because it's no longer their property' or something to that effect, so if you believe that, why do you keep saying 'that can't happen because it's illegal'? Doesn't this make your initial argument pointless?

It will always be there though. Anyone you fall out with or have an argument with has access to it and can always bring it back to life if they wanted to.

While I don't think murder and sending a picture are at all on the same calibre, I'll entertain the idea. If a 16 year old murders someone, they will usually have the right to anonymity or a change in identity when they are released. It's almost like a fresh start so that they aren't constantly reminded of the fact or penalised for it by outsiders.
I'm not just referring to teenagers, but young people in general.
Nobody said anything about not being held accountable. If a young person commits a crime, they should be held accountable. If a young person sends a nude picture, they are accountable for making a bad choice - my point is that they shouldn't be living in constant fear, which would likely happen if this wasn't illegal.

In addition, nobody has said anything about 'not being called out on it'. The victim of revenge porn will have to explain to their friends and family why they felt the need to send such a picture. They'd have to go to the police station and practically relive their experience. The same would happen if they were to attend court. They'd have the humiliation and embarrassment of their parents, the police and judges seeing their naked picture. They would have lost the person they trusted enough to send the picture in the first place. They'd find it difficult to rebuild that trust again and would likely be weary of any future potential relationships. That is punishment enough.

No, I didn't make any bad choices that would be looming over me now if it was documented for all to see. Not everyone is stupid and sleazy

I am not going to read the rest of your post as I have had enough of your victim complex and none of what a weak anon says can ever be taken seriously as far as I am concerned so find someone else to entertain.

I guess you're perfect then.

Of course you won't read it, because you can't stand to see anything that you disagree with. You make a point that it shouldn't be illegal then follow with 'but it is illegal so that can't happen'. No sense, but I couldn't have expected any more from you to be frank.

Yes, it is illegal so it cannot happen therefore you don't need to cry. I have already told you that as far as I am concerned, people should take responsibility for their actions instead of whining, so if you decide to send someone nudes then take responsibility for your stupid actions. If your life is ruined over it, that's your problem, you sent the nudes so clearly you thought it was worth the risk.

I have nothing more to say to you so perhaps you can stop quoting me now as I will not be reading any more of what you say, I can't keep repeating myself forever. Bye.

I smell weak anon who is too scared to put their *online* name to what they say. No wonder you also advocate people being reckless and not taking any responbility for themselves.

You argued that it shouldn't be illegal! That is why everyone was attacking you. When I challenge you and carefully explain why it should be kept illegal, you say 'yes it's illegal so it can't happen anyway' do you not see how this defeats your entire argument?

Sending a nude only becomes a stupid action or a bad decision when it gets leaked, because you put your trust into someone who wasn't worth it. This doesn't mean you should never trust someone again. It means you take better precautions.
You can take responsibility for your actions without being humiliated for it for the rest of your life.
You won't be reading anymore of what I say but you expect me to read what you say, rofl:wink:

Y so defensive Hun? I didn't advocate anything lewl, I just said I smell defeat. It's not my fault you got served
Definitely a loser when all you can do is point out that I'm anon. It's also no wonder why nobody agrees with you or takes you seriously and that you're only referred to as a troll LMAO

Some things, like her ridiculous opinions, don't need discussing. Why are you getting involved? She won't sleep with you.
