The band was called 'The Vampires'. I was the lead singer. We had a songwriter, a backup singer, and the backup singer's sister.
The band split up after me and the songwriter both attempted (and failed) to 'get' the backup singer's sister.
The band reformed with everyone (except the songwriter). Then we split up again after I accused the backup singer of 'being rubbish'.
My first song as a solo artist also accused him of being rubbish.

And I'm cynical enough to make even the most spiritual man miserable,

Right, well if you send me a track or two (the instrumentals) I'll see what I can do. I can't really make any promises because I've never really dabbled in that genre before.

I have written a parody to an example song before, I'm not entirely sure it fits, but I am really curious and lacking the voice to do it myself... If you want to try that?
