Wenger could face charges for tunnel comments aimed at the referee after the match.
By that token we lose yet more points on Sunday :yy:
Wenger is a moody bastard ain't he. Had an affair with a girl 25 years younger than him as well

Acting as though Flamini is the problem when Ozil misses 3 sitters and giroud is nonexistent. Sanchez did sweet f all too all game. Keep scapegoating, stay classy.... That midfield duo certainly isn't good enough, but that isn't why we drew yesterday, **** finishing was the reason.

Next 2 games are HUGE. We have Bournemouth on Sunday while Leicester play City, then next week we play Leicester at home while City play Spurs. HUGE. Completely feasible (not saying it'll happen but there's a definite possibility) that we will be top after those 2 fixtures. Short sightedness on this thread is a joke tbf.

Like I said yesterday it's typical that Forster plays a blinder against us.

Goes without saying, nothing less than 6 points from those 2 games will do. What's certain is that against two in from teams we need to up our level of performance massively or we simply will not win those games. A draw between City and Spurs would be very nice.

That's our problem then, we field an XI yet only one or two turn up. Regardless of the strength of our squad. It's not being drilled into these players' heads that they need not only to prove themselves to the manager, but also to the fans and the media. There's no "military" environment in this Arsenal F.C. that's meant to instill discipline in every one of the players.

I was gonna say new Stoke but we never beat them even now.

the front line is a joke we have needed a striker since 2012 and never got a replacement for RVP. This league is all about attack
4 clean sheets in 4 since Forster returned. I could see a good number of teams dropping points to them as well tbf.

6 points from the next 2 games and preferential results elsewhere and we're right back up there (if we are top in 2 games times a would honestly say favourites considering Spurs and City will likely have at least 4 more European games to play compared to our 2 and 2 injuries to Leicester and their title hopes are over). Leicester are fragile, they've had some stupid luck this season, we can all jump on the media hype wagon but variance wise they're outside the normal in injuries, shot conversion etc, even for a side without a clogged fixture list.
A real class RW is what we need too, Campbell has been bloody good for what he is, but him and Walcott just aren't good enough. Starting to worry about that CM spot too, Ramsey hasn't really stepped up to the job, Wilshere is always injured, Neny is an unknown quantity and Santi only has 12 months left in his prime tops. Wilsh and Ramsey need to step up or leave tbh, Wilsh on £110k a week is an absolute disgrace. Deadwood is starting to pile up, I could comfortably name 10 players I'd happily put in the bin that we're paying ****ing good wages to
In all honesty, with the state of the league this year the squad we have should be good enough to win it. Obviously next year with Pep coming we'll have to strengthen but the players aren't the problem this season. We are capable of deservedly beating our nearest challengers in Man City but for some reason we insist on pressing the self destruct button. If we want to win the league we have to get out of this bad patch quicker then you'd run away from the bird you've been sh*gging when she tells you she's pregnant. If not we're in danger of lagging behind and starting another battle for 4th place while we let the likes of tottenham (ffs) challenge for the title, and let an unreal opportunity slip by us. These next few games will really show what we're made of and if we can seriously win the league, or if it's the same old story with us.

Mertesacker only needs to watch that game at Watford, his former partner-in-crime Prödl is showing just how to defend against one Diego Costa

them bluenoses can now only finish on 71 points max. (and hope we get just 25 more points from the 14 remaining games)

Think the whole battle for fourth stuff is pure nonsense. The squad is good enough to win the title this season but it just hasn't been happening for us and there are several very good reasons. Also dislike the idea that a keeper 'plays a blinder' against us, it's usually down to our very very poor finishing. There wasn't one save he made yesterday which I thought was beyond ordinary. Ozil had a great game in terms of creating chances but the chances he missed himself were criminal. Could have easily gotten 2/3 for himself yesterday. He needs to stop being a little b*tch and start using his right foot to shoot when in on goal and stop trying to take more than one touch. That shite really cost us yesterday.

Kos missing a header from five yards out summed it up. We were so desperate to score that we couldn't calm down and focus, Ramsey literally epitomises hastiness and he was basically positioned at CF last night, disgraceful performance from him. Chance after chance wasted. Watched the highlights again and I honestly can't believe the chances we missed.

People will say 'you're only 5 points behind the leaders' but we were 2 ahead of Leicester at new years. What they won't tell you is that's a 7 point swing in one month. If that doesn't constitute a collapse I don't know what does.

37 goals in 24 games is pretty damn poor and it needs to pick up soon otherwise we'll be in real danger of slipping out of the race. It's certainly not title winning material, but like leinad said we could easily be top after the next two games, that's how weird the league is this season.

Barcelona have just scored 7 goals for fun against Neville's Valencia. Us next, Rip.
