Does anybody know if the In tray exercise is on a computer or Pen and Paper ?

I'm sure it's Pen and paper because only the online one's are called e-tray right?

Does anyone have any resources to practice on?

Hey, I have just joined this thread. I have my AC day allocated for Warwick on the 9th Feb. Totally petrified! Was wondering how everyone is preparing.

Yep, better safe than sorry. Am definitely going to apply. I thought the interview seems OK too. Also, no mention of reasoning tests which I had to for the Hidden Economy one which was a grade O. Interesting.

For anyone who has a hidden economy interview, is anyone else confused about the DBS form we are suppose to bring with us. ON 21st Jan I recieved and email stating
"

This is to advise that an incorrect form was attached to this vacancy DBS permission. This has now been removed and the correct form is attached to this email.

Please print off this form, complete it and take it with you to your interview."

But when you download the attachment, it isn't a form to fill out, just some info on the DBS check, so not sure exactly what we're suppose to "print off and complete"

No problem at all, thought the exact same thing as you it was really confusing! Just bring it with you just in case so you have it hand but there's nothing you can do as far as checks until you get an offer best of luck for the interview, hope it goes well 😊 please do if you dont mind its so nerve wracking. Have you done these types of interviews before?
Hi All,

I have had interview today for Hidden Economy - nothing to worry about- really straight forward. I too was concerned re DBS but you don't need to do or take anything in reference to that. Good luck:smile:

Good luck too. Nope never, pretty nervous! Have no ideas about the role play, have never done anything like that before!

you'll have a booklet with all the information on it, however the answer will need to be typed up on the computer and saved in to a folder.

instructions will be given on the day.

Thanks @Kneale - much appreciated. I've been doing periodic checks since applying for TSP.

I will be applying for this even though I have made it to Stage 3 as I cannot guarantee I will be offered that position or another O or HO position, as I have done with the Hidden Economy one and all good practice. Plus 470 positions

Good luck and fingers crossed.

You need to apply for this role separately, it's not what we will be offered automatically (if we're offered anything at all):

"Good Afternoon,

Thank you for your interest in the HO Vacancy under CSR/159/16

Please note the vacancy is being advertised as a generic vacancy.

Your recent application to TSP 2016 relates to a Development Programme, which is a separate vacancy , under our Graduate Recruitment Scheme.

The HO Vacancy application process differs from TSP 2016, and if you are interested in this HO vacancy, you will need to meet the vacancy eligibility criteria, submit a separate application and undertake the HO CSIST .

Under TSP 2016, you would have completed a CSIST at a lower level and banked scores from TSP cannot be used for generic vacancies.

Applying for this HO Vacancy does not affect, the potential opportunity to be offered another post within HMRC at O or HO level based on your TSP 2016 application.

Please note we do not currently hold any details of these roles / posts within HMRC, and we understand that you will be contacted by the Recruitment Team if and when, these posts/roles become available. "

No i don't think i will, ill just see what happens first.. im sure thought the decision will be ultimately yours , what one you take, but im not too sure how it works :-/
Same here, I'm sure they might well be aware of it anyway...
Guys, how are you feeling??

:colondollar: I feel sooo nervous. I am mostly nervous about the group discussion because out of all the activities that is the one I have least control over. You never know how others will behave and everyone will be trying hard to do the same thing. I'm mostly worried I won't get a word in, or I'll freeze and not say enough to be adequately scored by the assessorAlso, the role play is long! 55 minutes is some time. I'll probably have nothing more to say after the first 5 minutes lol. From what others have said on previous threads the centre is draining, challenging, but enjoyable. We'll see about that.
Good morning, if anyone is looking for a OT Contract position.. Feel free to contact me at 484-383-1871. ask for Ryan.

Have a great day!
