algebraic fractions

hi guys, i got a maths homework due for tomorrow, but have no clue on how to do it:frown:please help. (the pics are attached)the teacher gave us formulas which we were somehow meant to use, written in blackthe questions are written in blue,thanks in advance:redface:

Ok for the first one can you take out common factors on both of the fractions? Like the 3a^2+3ab+3b^2 could be written as 3(a^2+ab+b^2).

Yeah because you're dividing it by something that can be factorised as 9(....) :smile:
